Let us help you create the kind of workplace our children would be proud to work in and that your customers will love.
Consulting
Training
We develop, run and help embed purposeful learning opportunities (online and face to face) in organisations. These can be interactive workshops, learning bites, group learning or large scale workshops. For in person sessions we can use tools like Slido or Mentimeter to garner opinion or collaborative tools like Mural to create an inclusive working environment for those in or outside the room.
Coaching
The opportunity to work one-to-one with individuals, managers or leaders helps create a place to pause, reflect, explore and grow. Our coaching approach also draws on many years in senior leadership roles to work alongside clients in a compassionate way looking at the whole person to strike a balance between worklife and homelife. Normally over eight sessions we work together towards your goals with care and attention to what’s important to each individual.
Mentoring
Rather like having your ‘guru’ guiding you through business change, our approach draws on consulting, training and coaching expertise. It’s a process of exploration which may involve us sharing our successes and less than successful experiences, to help our clients accelerate and avoid the pitfalls.
What are Great Workplaces?
Creating a great workplace culture has numerous benefits for both employees and the organisation as a whole. When employees feel valued, supported, and engaged, they are more likely to invest their discretionary effort, leading to improved productivity and increased profits. A great workplace culture also leads to stronger relationships with customers and stakeholders, as employees are motivated to provide exceptional customer service. Additionally, a positive workplace culture leads to brand advocacy and pride, as employees feel proud to be a part of the organisation and its purpose.
Key characteristics of a great workplace include a clear purpose, safe and healthy working environment, supportive practices for employee wellbeing, diversity, equality, and inclusion, competitive compensation and benefits, learning and development opportunities, work-life and home-life balance, trust, a sense of belonging and commitment to the organisation, as well as collaborative, caring, and conscious leadership.
At The Great Workplaces Company, we specialise in creating purposeful workplace cultures that drive success. Let us help you create a great workplace culture that inspires your employees to do their best work and drives success for your organisation.
“Make everything you do purposeful- even the little things”
Our Story
The Great Workplaces Company has been in the making for a few years now. It came to fruition when Pam moved back to Scotland having worked in London for most of her career. Apart from using the return home to enter a new phase in her life, it was a chance to look at what difference she could make to organisations. Essentially how to bottle her experiences and share these with businesses to help them grow purposefully. Purpose is a particular passion for Pam. She uses purpose as a key compass to guide herself and the work she does with organisations. Author of Purpose Prompts™ Pam has created a set of cards with purposeful sayings to ponder, or prompt a conversation.
